Select a perfect city state template and apply it to 100+ cities instantly
Overview
Auto City Builder lets you select a perfect city state template and apply it to 100+ cities in one click instantly. It manages building construction and research queues, coordinating with Auto Build and Auto Research to create perfectly optimized cities across your entire empire.
Prerequisites
- City Groups: Cities must be assigned to valid groups
- Available Resources: Sufficient resources to queue building upgrades
- Senate Level: Higher senate levels allow more advanced building levels
How It Works
Detection System
- City Group Recognition: Identifies each city's group assignment
- Current State Analysis: Scans current building levels
- Target Calculation: Compares against perfect configurations
- Gap Identification: Determines which buildings need upgrades
- Queue Management: Creates optimal building order
Building Logic
- Group Detection: Identifies city group (e.g., OFF NAV, DEF TER)
- Configuration Loading: Loads target building levels for that group
- State Comparison: Compares current vs target levels
- Queue Creation: Builds prioritized upgrade queue
- Senate Strategy: Optionally builds senate to level 24 first
- Sequential Execution: Auto Build system executes the queue
- Research Integration: Auto Research handles academy technologies
City Types & Default Configurations
1. OFF/DEF Naval Cities
Groups: OFF NAV, DEF NAV
Info: you can change the level configuration in the settings at any time!
2. OFF Terrestrial Cities
Group: OFF TER
Info: you can change the level configuration in the settings at any time!
3. DEF Terrestrial Cities
Group: DEF TER
Info: you can change the level configuration in the settings at any time!
4. Mix Cities
Group: MIX
Info: you can change the level configuration in the settings at any time!
5. Mythic Cities
Group: MYTHIC
Info: you can change the level configuration in the settings at any time!
Main Settings
1. Enable Auto City Builder
- Toggle: Toggle: On/Off switch to activate the feature
- Location: Auto City Builder Panel
- Default: Default: Enabled
- Note:: Note: Manual control - not automatic, runs when you click "Make All Cities Perfect"
2. City Building Settings
Configure target levels for each building type per city group:

- Open Configuration panel
- Select city type (OFF/DEF Naval, OFF TER, etc.)
- Adjust individual building levels
- Settings save automatically
Advanced Settings
Senate Building Strategy
Force Senate to Level 24
- Toggle: Toggle: Checkbox option
- Default: Default: Enabled (recommended)
- How it works:
- - Builds senate to level 24 immediately at the start
- - Then builds other buildings according to configuration
- - Ensures all buildings can reach their maximum levels
- - Ignores custom senate level configuration until level 24 is reached
Building Alternation Strategy
Alternate Farm, Warehouse & Academy Building
- Toggle: Toggle: Checkbox option
- Default: Default: Disabled
- Requirement: Farm, Warehouse, and Academy must be adjacent in Building Construction Order
- How it works:
- - When enabled and buildings are adjacent, cycles through them
- - Pattern: 1 Farm → 1 Warehouse → 1 Academy → 1 Farm → 1 Warehouse → ...
- - Maintains balanced growth
Building Construction Order
Purpose: Determines the priority sequence for building upgrades
Default Order:
- Harbor
- Barracks
- Market
- Cave
- Temple
- Warehouse
- Academy
- Farm
- Thermal Baths
- Silver Mine
- Timber Camp
- Quarry
- Wall
- • Use ↑ (up arrow) to move building higher in priority
- • Use ↓ (down arrow) to move building lower in priority
- • Click "🔄 Reset to Default Order" to restore defaults
Priority Logic:
- • Buildings at top of list are upgraded first
- • Next building starts only when current target is reached
- • Senate upgrades automatically when needed (if Force Senate 24 is disabled)
Processing Modes
Process Single City
- Select City: Choose from dropdown (shows city name and group)
- Click: "Process City" button
- Result: Queue created for that one city only
Make All Cities Perfect
- Requirement: Cities must have valid groups assigned
- Click: "Make All Cities Perfect" button
- Processing:
- - Scans all cities with valid groups
- - Skips cities with "No Group"
- - Creates queues for each city based on its group
- - Processes cities sequentially
Integration with Other Systems
Auto Build Queue
- • All building orders go to Auto Build queue
- • Auto Build handles actual construction
- • Respects buildings costs etc..
Auto Research (Academy)
Automatically researches required technologies with different tech trees per city group:

Workflow Example
Setting Up a Perfect OFF NAV City
• In-game, assign city to "OFF NAV" group
• Or use your custom offensive naval group name (configured in Settings)
• Open Auto City Builder panel
• Click "Configuration"
• Select "OFF/DEF Naval" city type
• Optionally enable "Alternate Farm, Warehouse & Academy" & "Force Senate to Level 24"
- If enabled, ensure Farm, Warehouse, Academy are adjacent in build order
• Select the city from dropdown
• Click "Process City" (for single city)
• OR click "Make All Cities Perfect" (for all cities)
- • City buildings match perfect OFF NAV configuration
- • Academy researches optimal technologies
- • City ready for maximum Bireme/Light Ship production
